Hot Air Balloons over Red Rock Ranch
Remembering our time spent at Red Rock Ranch in Sedona, Arizona. Specifically the time the hot air balloons flew over. I happened to be outside from a glorious morning photographing the sunrise, when I heard a loud noise that I didn't recognize. Whooooosh, whoooooosh! What is that I thought with a little bit of uncertainty. Whooosh, whooooosh growing louder! Within a few moments they came over the house. (how relieved I was that they actually made it over the house... Ha Ha) They seemed so very close. Following the wind up and over the closest ridge, then back down through the valley below. It was a spectacular site and a great reward for a photographer. Being there at the right moment is as important as any other skill I have learned.
